
EXPERTISE:
Taylor is a highly experienced commercial adviser specialising in complex Defence and government procurement, commercial strategy, and collaborative contracting. She has advised the Department of Defence, Australian Submarine Agency, Airservices Australia, and Defence industry, supporting major capability, infrastructure, technology and service delivery initiatives in highly regulated and stakeholder-intensive environments.
Taylor has advised organisations across the full procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to tendering, evaluation approaches, and negotiation strategies, and has acted as lead commercial negotiator on behalf of clients for major procurements. Taylor has also supported clients in commercial management of complex contracts, including advice on commercial disputes and issues, support to large contract change processes, and review of contract performance to improve outcomes. She is known for helping clients structure and negotiate complex commercial arrangements that balance strategic objectives, delivery risk, probity and value for money outcomes.
Taylor brings particular expertise in Defence commercial arrangements involving sovereign capability, strategic partnerships, and international engagement. Her specialist experience includes the development and negotiation of Memorandums of Understanding and other international arrangements to support cooperative programs with partner nations, Foreign Military Sales with the United States Government, and commercial arrangements involving major Defence primes and international government stakeholders.
